Introducing Derby!

Thank you for joining us here at our GoldenDoodle website! And if you’ve been here before, welcome back. We’re delighted that you are taking an interest in our puppies.

It is now our pleasure to introduce Derby, our AKC Registered Medium Size Standard Poodle. In Poodle circles they are known as “Mediums.” Mediums tend to be in the 15-20 inch range at the shoulder, the size of a small Standard Poodle. Derby joined the family in June 2019. Right from the start he was playful, obedient, entertainingly friendly and boisterous with other dogs, and great with children. And he has never grown out of any of that! He will forever be known for his elegance, grace, and cheerful personality. Standard Poodles are one of the smartest, most trainable of all breeds.

Apple is our AKC Registered English Creme Golden Retriever. She loves fetching balls and dancing in the rain. Her loyal and loving personality brightens any day, and she, too, is great around people of all ages. 

English Creme Golden Retrievers are heavier and stockier than the American Golden Retriever. Their golden cream coloring defines them differently than the red and mahogany of the American Golden. Their gentle temperament and friendly confident mannerism makes them a perfect fit for any family.

Derby and Apple are expecting their first litter together of F1A GoldenDoodles in January. Given the size of the parents, we expect their offspring will be between 40 and 50 pounds.
